Funny stories! We just have to laugh at our ourselfs sometimes.

Thursday night I was in a hurry to get changed out of my work clothes and into clothes for volleyball so I could get to the church to play. So I ran inside while Brain sat in the car and I changed super, duper fast! We then headed to the church and played for a few hours. We then headed over to Brains condo when we were done. When I was leaving I looked down at my shoes and noticed that I had two different shoes, one work shoe and one running shoe lol! I had gone all night with unmatching shoes!

The Doctor who I work for just became a grandpa because his oldest daughter had a beautiful little girl. When the news hit work one of the receptionists made a little card. She said to me, "Niki had her baby, sign this" I was a bit busy and just wrote Niki a quick note, I wrote; "Im so excited for you! I bet she's a beauty just like you! I love you! Heidi". the next day I get to work and I see the card put up on Dr Johnson's door and the card said "Congratulations Grandpa Johnson!" Oops! My mistake lol! That card was not for Niki.

Cheap Valentines date

For Valentines day, Brian and I decided to keep it cheap. I ended up cooking dinner for him. We had a fun little candle lit picnic right in his livingroom. Afterward we used some free ticket vouchers that he got at work to go see Mall Cop, which was soo funny! We then went to the the Grand Sierra to play a few games with some free token cards and ended it with some yummy icecream from Dairy Queen!

Sacramento

Brian and I had a day off together. . the first in a long time so we took a trip to Sacramento. We visited the zoo and then had a picnic. . .in his car because it started to poor rain. Then we headed over to check out the Temple there, which is gorgouse! We then discovered some outlet malls near by and couldn't resist. We got away with spending very little money and just had a blast spending the day together.

We loved these monkeys! They were very active and talkative! The loudest animals in the zoo!

We found out that both of us have the same wing span as a bald eagle!

The sun came out just enough for us to enjoy the Temple

New Years retroflection

As the New year came around I thought about 2008. I think It was the toughest year yet! I don't want to be a complainer but it REALLY was hard on me. Despite all the trials and pain, I'm still alive. . . I graduated from college, I've managed a full time job, I was a Relief Society president, I taught 4 year olds in primary, I visited AZ several times, I bought a new car (. . and named her lilly), and moved out of my parents' (then moved back in). After all I been through I am now stronger. With the help of the Lord and a number of friends and family (You know who your are) I did it! Thanks to all of you who held my hand through my rocky spots and wiped my tears when I cried!! I have made it to a NEW YEAR! Bring it on 2009!

Happy New Year eveyone!!

I think we did a pretty good job if I say so myself.
